No big lights
An interior design studio. We run the social: the calendar, the films, and the way finished rooms are cut for a feed rather than a portfolio.

No big lights
The film opens on a line that is the studio’s whole position in five words: rooms lit by lamps and afternoon rather than a ceiling grid. It is cut vertical for a feed, it holds on a table, a jar and a phone before it shows a single room, and it ends on a plain terracotta circle instead of a logo animation.

The work
Houses, and one hospitality project. The Monarque runs a black pool the length of a white arched courtyard with palms down both sides, the only piece in the set that is not domestic, and the one that sets the scale for everything else.

Warm as a discipline
Every room in the set is built from the same narrow palette: oak, clay, off-white, black metal. That is what makes a grid read as one studio rather than a stream of unrelated jobs, and it is doing the work before anyone gets to a caption.

The hour it is shot in
The terrace is photographed at sunset with the candles already lit and the curtains moving, which is the hour the studio actually designs for. Nothing in the frame is switched on overhead. The argument and the photography agree, which is rarer than it sounds.
